Expunging Criminal Arrests, Acquittals, Dismissals and Convictions is a Complicated and Complex Process that Requires Great Care and Experience

We all make mistakes and sometimes those mistakes lead to arrests, criminal charges, and even criminal convictions. Sadly, this can have profound affects on your life ranging from loss of liberty, fines, license suspensions, forfeiture of firearms, the right to possess firearms and even the right to vote. Fortunately, Oregon law provides an avenue and way to clear some of these mistakes from your record. Many arrests, and even convictions, can be "expunged" from your record. If you file a motion and successfully convince a judge you are eligible and deserve to have your record expunged, an order granting the request will allow you to declare that you have not previously been arrested, charged, or convicted.
